My name is Aidan Lynch. I am an award-winning photographer/videographer and editor. From a personal interest standpoint, I specialise in capturing nature and wildlife, particularly birds. As part of my HNC year, I was the creator and editor of a documentary involving a band that I am a part of, which won an award: HNC Best Documentary of 2023. I also won 2 other awards: HNC Photo of the Year Award and the Recognition of Excellence Award. Making this documentary taught me many valuable skills, including teamwork, collaboration and how to work efficiently. It also helped to develop my camera operation, script writing and decision-making skills. I am also proficient in using industry-standard, professional software to edit my content, such as Adobe Premiere Pro for my videography media and Adobe Lightroom for my photography media. I am working on a 3-part documentary series called ‘The Three Walks of Wildlife’ to improve my video editing skills further. I am passionate about working with videos and photos and constantly seek to improve my skills in any way possible.
