My name is Eva Smyth and I am interested in directing as I enjoy being able to work with actors and crew to create a piece of media. I first became interested in directing through my love of the Harry Potter movies as a child and watching the behind-the-scenes. Through this, I understood the work that goes into working in the industry. I have previous experience directing two short films, one of which was with the NFTS. I am now looking to expand my knowledge of directing whilst learning more about the other departments within film.
