Jamie Earley
Camera Operator
I have four years of camera operation experience, learning the theory and how settings work for the first two years in GCSE and then in the next two years during my A Levels, I got more hands-on experience via making two short films, one-stop motion and one live action, as well as working with the nerve centre in the BFI Film Academy 2022/23 as a camera operator.
During my AS levels, I got to experience filming in a live situation for the first time by filming the Holy Cross College’s production of Chicago in St Patrick’s Theatre Strabane. Because of this, I can work well with actors who are used to working on stage, and I got to one of the leads to then work on my final project for my A2 Film.
I am quick at learning and able to adapt to situations fast; anything practical is always my strong suit as I enjoy going into the work and doing it; this is why i enjoy editing to as any clips I have recorded I can choose weather or not to use them in the final product i am making.
