Niall Mullan
Camera Operator/Photographer
My name is Niall. I am interested in photography and Filmmaking and would like to pursue work professionally in Videography and Photography. I have bettered my skills through personal experiences and my media course, utilising skills such as working under pressure, teamwork, and time management as a Camera Operator and Photographer. I did this by working on multiple Student podcasts in various production roles, such as Director and Vision Mixer and a Camera operator on an NWRC Performing Arts Students Christmas show. I’ve also worked behind the scenes as a Photographer in a BBC introducing production of the band ‘‘Tramp’’ at the NWRC.
These opportunities have helped improve my experience working professionally with my classmates to ensure I conducted myself well and focused on getting the best photos that the band could use. My developing skills at NWRC have allowed me to gain more experience with industry-standard equipment. I will use this equipment further to create work that I am proud of by applying the knowledge of camera proficiency and editing skills gained towards future employment.
